		Miss Vasuki Sivagnanavel has a specialist interest in medical retina and inflammatory eye diseases as well as general ophthalmology. She serves as the Lead Retina Specialist at Kingston Hospital Foundation Trust and manages one of the largest Age Related Macular Degeneration (AMD) services in the country.
Having trained at leading Teaching Hospitals including Kings College Hospital and Moorfields Eye Hospital, she was awarded a Doctorate in Medicine (MD) for her research into age related macular degeneration and retinal imaging. She remains active in research and has presented at international and national conferences and published in peer review journals. She was later selected for the prestigious Darzi Fellowship and trained in quality improvement in healthcare with the Kings Fund, The Manchester Business School and Moorfields’ Eye Hospital.
