New One Stop Breast Clinic

Mr D Banerjee, Consultant Breast Surgeon at Parkside Hospital has recently introduced a One-stop Breast Clinic at Parkside Hospital. Clinics are available on Tuesday evenings and Thursday afternoons and are offered in conjunction with our Diagnostics service. These clinics are for symptomatic, GP-referred patients and include a consultation with the Breast Surgeon, mammogram and/or ultrasound for rapid diagnosis and results within the same appointment whenever possible. Interventional procedures, ie core biopsy, fine needle aspiration, breast MRI and pathology are then available if required. The results of such tests are usually available with 2-5 days.
