I trained at the Middlesex Hospital Medical School in London. I developed an interest in ophthalmology while in Oxford and then completed my training at Moorfields Eye Hospital and The Western Eye Hospital, followed by a year of extra training (a fellowship) in Oculoplastic Surgery in London and Vancouver.
After being a consultant at The Royal Eye Unit, Kingston Hospital for 20 years I retired from NHS practice in late 2019 and now I am in private practice at Parkside Hospital.
