Dr Lucy Ostlere graduated with Honours from St Bartholomew’s Medical College in 1986, having gained a BSc in Psychology from University College London in 1983. She has over 25 years of experience in Dermatology, having trained at the Chelsea and Westminster, the Royal Free, St Helier and St George’s Hospitals. Her specialist research was on atopic eczema, for which she was awarded an MD in 1998. She was appointed Consultant Dermatologist at St George’s and Kingston Hospitals in 1996. Her special interests include eczema and the diagnosis of contact dermatitis, and the management of skin cancer, including surgery and photodynamic therapy.
Dr Ostlere was listed in the Tatler Doctors Guide as one of the top 250 medical consultants in England. She was also recommended in Vogue for her management of acne and praised “for her supportive manner . . . [and] a great track record with teenagers”.
She is recognized and fee-assured by all the main insurance companies, including BUPA (BUPA premier partner) and AXA PPP.
