Fees, Training & Background:

Medical Education – Queens’ College Cambridge, and The London Hospital, Whitechapel. Appointed Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Queen Marys Hospital Roehampton in 1995, then Kingston General Hospital after NHS merged services across the two sites.

General Orthopaedic training included two years at The London Hospital dealing with major trauma after the Helicopter Emergency Service was set up there. Appointed in 1995 as a General Orthopaedic Surgeon, since specialising in Arthroscopic (keyhole) surgery of joints, particularly shoulder and knee.

Performed all general Orthopaedic Procedures including Hip and Knee Replacement until 2007, since this time concentrating upon conditions of the shoulder joint and Arthroscopic Surgery to the shoulder and knee particularly.

A member of a team of eight consultants providing consultant delivered care to patients injured and brought to Kingston Hospital. The majority of procedures now performed are Arthroscopic (keyhole) to knee and shoulder especially, with minimal impact on lifestyle and rapid recovery.
