Clinical interests:

Mr Oliver Templeton-Ward is a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee Surgeon offering expertise in reconstructive surgery for sports injuries as well as the latest surgical treatment techniques for both early and established knee arthritis.

His practice covers advanced arthroscopic (keyhole) treatments for cartilage and ligament injuries, including anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction and complex multiligament reconstruction following knee dislocation. He also performs joint preserving surgery for early arthritis, partial, total and ‘patient matched’ knee replacements.

He has a subspecialist interest clinic in patellofemoral instability and anterior knee pain, as well as significant experience in the management of hamstring injuries in athletes and reconstruction of hamstring avulsions.

Oliver Templeton-Ward has published work on many aspects of knee surgery and presented internationally on topics including hamstring reconstruction and the management of anterior knee pain.

Fees, Training & Background:

After studying Medicine at Nottingham University, Oliver Templeton-Ward carried out surgical training in central London and at the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital in Stanmore.

He has additionally carried out 15 months of fellowship training in a number of areas including knee arthroplasty, partial and revision knee replacement surgery and complex multi ligament reconstruction of the knee.
