Initial training in General Surgery, then Ophthalmology on the North Thames London Rotation. Completed a research fellowship under the supervision of a leading Glaucoma surgeon (Prof Joseph Caprioli) at the Jules Steins Eye Institute, UCLA in California, USA. Further training and fellowship at Moorfields Eye Hospital.
