Professor Axford is Emeritus Professor of Clinical Rheumatology at St George’s. He developed an integrated musculoskeletal service at The Hotung Centre at St. George’s Hospital in 2002, which is now an internationally acknowledged centre of clinical excellence. He is the founding director of the London Rheumatology Clinic.
