Anaesthetic Advice for Kids

If your child is coming into for a day case you should receive an information pack beforehand on what to expect and discharge information. You can also download a PDF of the information by clicking the link on the right.

Children are fully supported by expert Paediatric Consultants. Parents and carers are also welcome to stay with their children in a private bedroom if their treatment involves an overnight stay at the Hospital.

Anaesthesia

Sometimes children, and adults, can be uneasy about the anaesthesia before a procedure.
