Fees, Training & Background:

Mr Le Roux studied medicine at Stellenbosch University in South Africa. He completed his basic surgical training in the UK, obtaining the FRCS in London in 1996. He trained in Urology at Groote Schuur Hospital and the University of Cape Town and was appointed Consultant Urologist and Senior Lecturer to Tygerberg Hospital and Stellenbosch University Medical School in 2000. His training in laparoscopic urology included attachments with Indirber Gill in Cleveland and Chris Eden in Basingstoke.

In 2002, Mr Le Roux was awarded the Storz prize, a travelling fellowship awarded once every two years by the South African Urological Association to the outstanding young urologist in South Africa.
