Clinical interests:
General urology including vasectomy and vasectomy reversal, management of kidney stones, prostate and bladder conditions and circumcision. Laser surgery for the prostate laparoscopic renal surgery uro-oncology (Cancer Surgery) including treatment of bladder and prostate cancer.
Fees, Training & Background:
I have a special interest in General Urology (prostate, bladder, vasectomy, circumcision and kidney stone), Laparoscopic Surgery, Uro-oncology and Surgery for the prostate. I am trained to carry out the UroLIft procedure – identified as an Outstanding practice in a recent CQC report.
I am a Consultant Urological Surgeon, and I work on three NHS sites, Kingston General Hospital, Queen Mary’s Hospital, and St Georges Hospital. I trained at the Royal Free Hospital in London, and gained my higher surgical training in the North Thames Region and the Royal Marsden Hospital. I obtained my MD degree on research into Prostate Cancer. I have a special interest in Laparoscopy, and Uro-oncology.
I have undertaken periods of elective training, in Boston, Egypt, and Belgium. I have recently been appointed Chief of Surgery and Planned Care at Kingston Hospital. Previously, I was the Lead Clinician for both Cancer Services and Urology at Kingston Hospital, and also responsible for Undergraduate Surgical Training. I run General Urology Clinics for St Georges Hospital and Kingston Hospital (at Queen Mary’s Hospital), and Oncology Clinics in the Sir William Rous Unit at Kingston Hospital.
