Pathology Services

The Pathology Laboratory at Parkside provides a comprehensive service and offers a wide range of tests and investigations.

The Laboratory is routinely open from 8.30am to 8.00pm Monday to Friday and is able to offer the following services either on site or through a range of specialist partners:

 

  • Blood Transfusions
  • Clinical Chemistry
  • Endocrinology and Immunology
  • Haematology and Coagulation
  • Microbiology and Serology
  • Histopathology and Cytology

 

The Pathology Laboratory is a UKAS accredited medical laboratory No. 8107. The laboratory is subject to strict regulation and monitoring – both internally and externally. It also participates in all relevant National Quality Assurance schemes.  Consultant specialists oversee each of the above disciplines.
