Pre-Operative Assessment Service

Before your admission to Parkside Hospital, you may be asked to complete a Pre-Operative Assessment Questionnaire or to attend the Hospital to meet with a specialist Pre-Operative Assessment Nurse.

Your co-operation in this process will help to ensure that you can prepare for surgery, and that your admission (and treatment) is as smooth as possible. It is also an opportunity for you to ask any questions about the procedure or treatment, and to think about any practical changes that you may need to make to your home and general environment on your discharge.
